Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009)

Director: Michael Bay. Cast: Shia Labeouf, Megan Fox, John Turturro. 150 min. Rated PG-13. Action/Sci-fi.

OK, Michael Bay has completely lost it. After a good start ("Bad Boys", "The Rock", "Armageddon"), he's forgotten that in the old days, explosion after explosion after explosion were fun when they were in the context of a story - not because the explosions were the story. Although the only reason to watch this is to watch the special effects in a theater (which means if you haven't already seen it in the theater, don't waste your time on the DVD), two and a half hours of the madness is still too much.

  1. Yes,this sequel like many sequels was not good enough.I enjoyed the first part and originalidea was really fabolous. This time I got nothing but a numerous action scenes and visual effects which sometimes made me tired. Also the frequent amount of transformers and newcomers ( Autobots) made me confused and Icould hardly recognize who's who and what is going on ?However (may countain spoilers!),
the idea of showing some scenes in Ancient Egypt and its pyramids,The process of finding Matrix, working as a team and beautiful Megan Fox was not bad!

  2. Well, if they say Megan Fox was the reason this movie was made, I would believe them ...

  3. Sometimes, you have to watch a sequel. When you've seen the original movie, when your friends are talking about a fox(!) in the movie (Although I didn't see any fox! It was the boy or the girl!?) and especially when you've received the movie from a friend!
At least my daughter liked it and after watching the movie, I slept calmly with nothing to think about at my bed.

  4. Sometimes, even a piece of junk is worth seeing its fox ...
